Thank you Dr. Owens, I have been surrounded by men who have self medicated. My dad, brothers and subsequently my significant others. I am a mental health counselor with a focus on addiction, chemical dependency and substance abuse. I feel helpless because I inform my loved ones of the services available to them yet they do not access them. I wish there was more ways such as through movies and media because men tend to like to watch movies or engage in various media outlets.

why does everything even mental disorders come down to black and white.I'm sick of hearing black white purple. Does any one care that i am a jewish white middle age woman with hiv and hep c.no. does any one want to do research on that. no so give us all a break and just consider us as people.
